1st Ecumenical Declaration of Cosmovote!

“A Different Worldview”

We address all people of the Earth, and dedicate this text to those we consider our friends and to those who consider us their friends (we believe the feelings are mutual) and to all our potential friends.

Above all, we dedicate it to young men and women who feel they have their whole lives ahead of them, and face a world prepared by others that they don’t like so much, but they have to live in it.

Deep inside, we all know that we carry the responsibility to leave behind a better world, but for this to happen we must all reach the point of respecting different opinions.

So we tell you that we don’t need to agree on everything discussed in the pages that follow, it is enough to agree on one basic thing!

We say that it will be enough if we agree on a single basic thing, because we may finally be able to act on it, for the benefit of people’s lives and the world as a whole.

To those who choose to read this text, we ask only that you take your time. Read it thoughtfully, and if you are pleased, think about it and tell us where we are wrong, or if we are saying anything right, or anything that is worth reading, so that someone can maybe do something about it!

Finally, forgive us if this text does not meet your expectations or if it fails to offer the meaning you hoped to find. Any disappointment was unintended.

DEMOCRACY AND FREEDOM

We invite everyone to Cosmovote, so that together we can find the «Value of Human Life», the one that we consider to be worth it, because if we are not mistaken, we ourselves determine the value of things, both material and spiritual.

Our motto “BREAD, EDUCATION, FREEDOM AND JUSTICE AND DEMOCRACY” is almost the same as the motto of the French revolution “LIBERTY, EQUALITY, FRATERNITY”.

Democracy is the regime! The majority chooses, and we continue!

They choose what they would like to achieve in their lives, they choose those who want to achieve them and they continue.

Now don’t ask us how much Democracies succeed.

There are no companies or independent organizations that measure the satisfaction of citizens, in relation to the implementation of these priorities that they have set for themselves and in their lives.

There is no such way to measure the satisfaction of people’s necessary and basic priorities, that is, the proper functioning of Democracy, which is precisely its purpose, namely to carry out the will of the majority of the People.

The real will and not things that are good to do, but these are not the goal and the primary thing!

In direct Democracy and freedom, anyone can propose a proposal that they consider very important to be done for the common good and everyone else has the right to vote and raise their hand that they agree or remain with their hands hanging at their sides, a sign that they do not agree or that perhaps they consider some other things more important and more urgent to be done before that or in any case that they do not consider it necessary to do it.

Now, whether what the Political leaders and parties propose is the same as what we have within ourselves, no one knows that to say. Because we can choose in a Windows environment between different windows and options, but what we are looking to find is not there!

We do not know in which part of the world, in which different democracy, whether Presidential, or Reigning, or Parliamentary, or Federal, or maybe none of them are people truly satisfied that their will is being implemented.

Because Democracy, has within it an inviolable condition! The will of the majority must never violate fundamental human rights of the minority.

We agree because we consider this fair, that in the end what most people want and what we consider most people to be right should happen, but when opinions on serious matters are divided down the middle, or a little above and a little below, then things are different.

Then we have to sit down and fight and find a third, better path, a path that most of us can agree is worth taking. There are always other paths and other options, it’s just that our minds get stuck sometimes on our point of view and don’t want to see, don’t want to look. But we know that the human mind has overcome many obstacles and overcomes them every day and becomes better and better.

As long as we don’t make the mistake of being led by some on the wrong path, or worship either our personal opinion as if we were infallible, either artificial intelligence, considering them more valuable and more respected than “common sense”, the natural intelligence that the good God has given us.

As long as we don’t make the mistake of choosing something that could endanger our lives, the lives of others and our own. As long as others don’t choose a choice that would endanger our own lives, in our opinion of course, because then things change dramatically.

If no solution can protect everyone equally, allowing people to choose their own path may be the only remaining option.

If we assume that to get out of the jungle, half of us believe that we should go North and the other half South, then the right thing is for everyone to go where their own heart tells them. If we can’t all be saved together, at least let those who made the right choice be saved. Because one choice may hide traps and instead of people coming out of the jungle, they may sink deeper and be lost and in danger from wild beasts and from impenetrable currents and dead-end ways and from hunger and disease and be decimated.

This is what Democracy and Freedom and Justice and Love among us dictate.

If we disagree so much among ourselves within a city, then we can create two different places within the city and whoever wants to go to one, can go, and whoever wants to go to the other as well. If someone wants to, they can go to both and if someone wants to, they can stay only in one place. This is what freedom and democracy and justice and the love of God say within us.

Mountains and forests are not separated, neither the sea nor the land is separated. People are separated. All people should obey a universal Constitution that is inviolable (based on the United Nations Charter and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights), and from there on, if some Afghans want to live with the Burqa and imprison and kill for trivial reasons, then we must recognize their right to choose in their villages and cities and decide whether they really want this or something different.

If it is indeed the will of the people to live this way and if they believe that this is the right thing to do, then we should wish them good luck. But if this is not the will of the majority, if this is not the will of the people, of the world, then things change dramatically!

We, the people, cannot accept that our fellow human beings live in slavery, now in the 21st century, after so much progress, after so many discoveries, after so much culture and history, after so much pain and heartbreak.

Neither in Afghanistan, nor in North Korea as prisoners in prison cells for life and pretend that we don’t see and let them suffer for generations, or become playthings in the hands of one Western and one Eastern powers and then be suddenly abandoned and left innocent victims in the hands of the slaughterers.

We humans cannot accept this. We humans have not elected a Planetary Master to make decisions and intervene and abandon to the mercy of their fate, whoever he wants and whenever he wants, as he pleases.

But we have created an Organization, our ancestors did that, after the two World Wars in which so much innocent blood was shed and unbearable pain was poured out on the entire planet, along with hunger and destruction, that gives us the opportunity, all Nations united, to be able to create a humanity where there is respect and peace, so that we do not make the same mistakes again.

Unfortunately UN is like an NGO, invisible and insignificant and discredited by the great powers and their “veto”. (Cosmovote Question 3)

But how can it seem that no one at the UN cares about the freedom of people everywhere? But how come not all the Secretaries-General resign from this ineffective organization, for reasons of sensitivity due to the devaluation of the most important organ of humanity, since the majority of them, look and behave as weak and unfit for this position?

But how can there be no effort for peace and not a single peace initiative, and one person in Ukraine is left to do whatever he wants and the other in Gaza is left to try to destroy everything in one place (as if he will manage to eradicate evil from the Earth).

Only one person, the President of the USA, made some Peace Efforts, but then he came along happily, as if nothing happened, “as if not a drop of blood was shed” as we say, and claims that he will build “holiday resorts” in the place of martyrdom. So much pain, so many innocent children dead and wounded and impoverished, for what?

This is not what we people agreed upon among ourselves and we must finally take some things seriously.

Some things we seek and want, some we accept and some other things we cannot accept.

So, based on the best instrument we have so far in our hands, that of Democracy and majority-based elections, people should be asked if they accept the generally accepted world laws and if they are covered by them, or if they desire something different or more than that.

From the smallest village, they must decide what kind of life they want to lead, up to the whole of Russia if they agree with the intervention and the continuation of the attack on Ukraine and even the whole of Israel if they agree with the intervention and the continuation of the extermination of Hamas and non-Hamas, without distinction between the just and the unjust, but also all the countries individually and the whole world together, to see where we agree and if we disagree, where!

Are the choices of people the same as the choices of elected leaders? Are the choices of leaders a reflection of the choices of the people?

THE PANDEMIC OF DISCORD

Especially in the case of Covid, things took a strange turn!

A vaccine was quickly discovered, quickly another, quickly the tests were carried out, quickly their manufacture was carried out, quickly the orders for special refrigerators and suitable warehouses were placed, quickly the distribution and vaccination had to be done.

The world was not informed about the coronavirus not at all quickly and many people died, who ended up being transported in trucks and buried in mass graves without the presence of their loved ones.

We did not do so well there in the prediction, nor in the first response where each state did its own thing and took whatever measures it wanted, whenever it wanted. Some strict, some relaxed, some closed, some open, chaos in travel, trapped and escapees from closed borders, product shortages, price increases, but then the countries came to show their effectiveness and made vaccines mandatory in the first phase!

Vaccines with the latest technology, which supposedly had the ability to intervene in the human genetic code. People were divided in two! How many were the former, how many were the latter, no one counted.

Half of them shouted that the vaccines should be mandatory to reduce the virus burden and the other half shouted that they did not want it because they were afraid of the change and alteration of DNA and that the measure should not be mandatory.

It’s a good thing they didn’t force us down to get the injection, or chase us down the street to catch us, that we don’t escape the life-saving sting!

Then health certificates like what we call a certificate of compliance started to be issued.

Anyone who did not have this magic card was denied entry to public services, means of transport, even entertainment venues, restaurants and shops.

To leave our homes we had to send a message to an authority to approve us, or sign a paper ourselves as a responsible declaration.

Those who wanted to go out to breathe fresh air, only at night managed to do so in lonely and remote places like thieves and robbers, unless they had dogs, in which case they gained the right to go out three times a day to take them for a walk. Dark memories emerged from periods of Nazi occupation, that it was forbidden to walk out and windows blackout!

Absurd things. At one point they banned the large number of guests at weddings and then they even banned music!

No particular effort was made to inform and understand and treat each other with respect as a group, only by imposing strict measures they tried to save the whole world as a flock of sheep, as if each person was not responsible for themselves.

My God, protect us from ourselves! Is there anyone else who wants our lives to be saved more than ourselves, except for ourselves, each for himself?

Μany of us would give their lives, for something we consider even more important, but we all love our lives and if we want to offer and give it, only we ourselves will decide which is worthy and which is not.

If the other person wants to make a choice to save his life and be saved, that is his right and good luck to him. But no one can make a decision for another, with their own standards and measures and save the other by force, if they themselves do not want to be saved. (Cosmovote Question 5)

If someone does not take pills to commit suicide, they can go to the cliff to fall.

There are many ways for someone to be saved and even more to be lost.

But think about the possibility that we all take an action as humanity together, either not to do it, either voluntarily, or forced by the acceptance of the weak democratic majority opinion and we all get destroyed together and perish, then who will apologize to whom?

If we take the climate crisis for example! We argue and one says with certainty that man is to blame and the other with the same certainty, that he is not the only one to blame and that human activities and pollution are insignificant in the face of this inevitable cycle of planet Earth, which is destined to go through ice ages and global warming and man can have no responsibility or participation in this.

But the important thing is not so much who is to blame, but whether we can do something to prevent it or at least delay it if it happens, so that we have time to take appropriate measures to protect ourselves and save life from extinction, like Noah’s Ark and not reach point ZERO, where the last survivors may kill each other for a drop of water or a sip of oxygen, because then what value will it have for one to say to the other “I told you I was right” and the other to answer “You were right, sorry”.

That is why freedom is for all living things on the planet, an indisputable right.

Even the sick person has the right to refuse treatment and say, “I don’t want this operation, I don’t want to take these medicines by force to be saved, but I want to live as long as I can, to live naturally, as long as God wants for me, without trying to drag it out as long as I can”

So if I have to perish, let me perish. You cannot save me by force if I don’t want to be saved, just as I cannot save you if you don’t make the right choices to be saved.

I will not ask for responsibility from anyone who did not force me to choose his own choice to be saved. Besides, I will not be here to say it. But I am telling you now so that you too know this, that I am not responsible for your own choices if you choose the wrong path.

Maybe there is no right or wrong for everyone. Maybe everyone has their own good and their own bad. Some certainly died because they didn’t get the vaccine and some others died in the good times because they got the vaccine.

It’s up to each person whether to get the covid-19 vaccine, when to get it and which one to choose.

Some of us didn’t rush into it. We were neither fanatics nor deniers. We chose a specific one and did it after a while, after we saw that those who had gotten it didn’t fall down like the berries from the bunches of grapes. Thank God we are still alive…

Some others weren’t. I hope at least it was by their choice if they got the vaccine and perished on their own, or if they didn’t do it and were saved on their own, well done to them too.

Some health workers lost their jobs because they did not give the good example and others were threatened in various ways and blackmailed into getting vaccinated.

In China, they even went so far as to block off entire buildings, locking the residents in quarantine-prisons, where some of the residents were burned by accident alive, like mice in a trap, while loudspeakers outside shouted “Please limit your sense of freedom a little.”

All over the world, there were clashes between vaccine deniers and vaccine fanatics and incredible stories were heard, with the dead remaining locked up in their homes for days with their loved ones, while some reactionary patients who broke their quarantine were walking around freely, even without taking protective measures for others!

The way this crisis was handled was not nice and was not democratic at all.

In a democracy, we vote to see what we want to happen. In a democracy, we all decide together what we want to happen, but when it comes to issues that concern our own lives, no one else can make a decision for us.

So especially in the case where our opinions may be divided on issues that concern life and death, then we have the obligation to accept both roads or even more that will be opened. He, who saves himself, as they say, let him be saved.

This is what Democracy says, this is what Justice says, this is what Freedom and Love say.

These shops that want to operate in the event of an epidemic with reasonable but relaxed protective measures, that is, at least I imagine with a mask and the necessary distances and ventilation, should have a sign outside showing the applicable security measures and those who want to enter, let them enter, otherwise let them pass by.

Those shops that do not want any protective measures at all, should have a sign too, so that only the fearless or deniers can see it and enter, those who do not want to implement a single protective measure against the virus.

Finally, those who want strict measures in the shops, should have another sign outside their door, so that only those who have all the necessary certificates, vaccines and other protective measures that they consider important to feel safe can enter. All respectfully!

The same could happen with buses, the same with offices and services and it would be clear who is what, and everyone could protect themselves as they can and do what they consider right, while respecting the choices of others!

It goes without saying that priority should be given in the hospitals,  to those who take protective measures, compared to those who refuse to wear a mask, but we cannot exclude those who refuse to protect themselves from life, nor force them to pay fines, only demand respect for the rest who want to protect themselves, otherwise they end up behaving vengefully and spitting on elevator buttons and door handles and in the faces of the police officers who control them!

If people do not understand and do not embrace all the existing options, then in addition to the one pandemic, another one will break out. That of discord! We have to fight the disease, we also have to fight among ourselves.

Instead of each protecting their own lives and respecting the choices of others, we think we can save everyone by force, ultimately ending up trying to destroy each other, wanting to emerge victorious, either by punishing or spitting.

But if everyone does not understand that we must protect and be protected, we will not be saved. Compulsory measures for salvation by force cannot be accepted, just as the denial of a reality and the lack of respect for different opinions cannot be accepted.

We humans can create complex systems that work. Thus, within the same country of Afghanistan, there could be cities and villages that live according to fanatical Islam and strict religious rules and other cities and other villages that live by different rules, but people must have the choice to choose.

We must learn to respect different choices and opinions and thus we could even within the same city operate in ways that everyone has chosen to live, but above all with respect for the freedom of others.

This self-evident term was beautifully described and interpreted by the Americans in their declaration of independence, saying…

“In the course of human events, it may become necessary for one part of mankind to dissolve the political ties which bind them to another part of mankind, and to assume among the powers of the Earth the distinct and equal position to which they are entitled by the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God, according to which we hold it self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. If these basic rights are not fulfilled, then we must give in to the necessity that imposes our separation and consider others, like the rest of humanity, enemies in war and friends in peace.”

That is why we invite you to Cosmovote and say to you:

Come with us to unite, to become many men and many women.

Come together, all of us who ask for what we consider good, to agree on the good we ask for.

Come together, all of us who ask for something good, for the same good!

Others are asking for clean seas, others are asking for the protection of forests, others for the protection of people, others for animals, and we are the ones who are asking for all of these together and many more, and we invite all of you who belong to Greenpeace, WWF, The Jane Goodall Institute Roots & Shoots, Mediterranean SOS, Arcturus, Callisto, Archelon, MOm, ANIMA, animal welfare organizations, Amnesty International and Human Rights Associations and all the global and state organizations and those groups of people who fight individually for what they consider fair and right, and all of you who want all of these, but have not had the chance to approach any of these specific groups that are fighting for any of these things that would have crossed your mind to approach and stand for.

However, it does not mean that if one strongly supports one purpose, that he or she cannot also strongly support another goal at the same time, since everything is somehow and somewhere connected!

Even each and every one of you who had never thought about it, or who would like to, but were afraid of obligations and subscriptions, if you agree, think again!

At Cosmovote there are no subscriptions, there are no obligations except those that come from within you.

Our only obligation towards this website and the global groups that will be formed either at a national level, or at a local level, or at a pan-human level, is to be true and to state our opinion, which is free and uncondemned and to support and defend with faith what we believe and consider right.

When our views, opinions, and ideas are gathered, then we will see how much each one weighs. To do this, it would be good for everyone to leave their mark on all the questions and not just one, whether positive, negative, neutral, or indifferent, but to make it clear that we have all seen them and heard them and decided, so that we can understand from the flow, what is and what is not of interest to the majority of people who wish to deal with Life on Earth and so with their own Life.

Only in this way will we see how many of us ultimately agree on things that we consider logical and necessary to be done, or to never be done again, at least as far as we can!

Our hope is to manage to find what unites us, what is self-evident to each of us, which may also be self-evident to the other. Let’s find all the things that the vast majority find interesting to deal with, because they want it to happen, because these are what logic dictates must be done, and the whole soul, body and spirit together.

If at some point we see one of the sacks with our opinions getting too big and heavy, then we lift it on our shoulders and take it to the rulers and the authorities and open it in front of them and say to them…

“Look what we have gathered here! And we keep the sack closed and do not leave it open, so that nothing bad will spill out, like from Pandora’s box, but so that we can use our knowledge and understanding in such a way that we can dip our hand in, and grab only the good things that we want and take them out and thus achieve what we want, only the good.”

THE VALUE OF HUMAN LIFE

So we begin by investigating Human Life and we say to you “come and let’s all find its value together!”

Because we ourselves determine the value of everything! There is clearly the law of supply and demand, but in essence we ask, we offer, so we alone are the ones who define the price and we ourselves raise or lower it, as we want and as we can.

If we left the gold lying on the ground and in the mud, uncollected and unclaimed, and no one bent down to pick it up, then they would take all the gold bars out of the treasuries and put in their place water bags or jars full of fruits and seeds, grains and nuts, depending on what people would look for to find and acquire.

How much do we value the value of human life?

To answer this question, we must first recall our memory and bring back the feeling we feel when we see children in Gaza and Ukraine and Syria and other parts of the Earth growing up under bombs and sprouting and being cut down like the delicate flowers of the field.

Is it like hearing another news story, describing the harsh reality that has taken shape in the lives of the dominant people on Earth, or is it like seeing a living, horrific and unacceptable crime before our eyes, which compels us to get up from our sofa or armchair or wherever we are and do something about it, to stop it and prevent it from ever happening again?

When people see lambs being slaughtered, we also feel very sad, but no one gets up from where they are sitting to shout “Stop and don’t do this again”. It is a sacrifice that we accept for the sake of Life itself and today we cost about 15 Euros per kilo, so a lamb weighing about 10 kilos is worth about 150 Euros or could reach200 with its entrails and skin!

Whereas on the contrary, for the small colorful anemones that live free in the fields and you see them flickering in the wind and you say “Look! Now they will break up and scatter!” although they continue to hold fast to the Earth and move as if dancing in the breeze, therefore, for these wildflowers, we humans have not valued their value, considering it perhaps insignificant to determine.

And the hand of man approaches and touches the fluffy body and feels the tenderness and softness that testify purity and innocence and beauty and humility and life and the fingers pinch it and bend it and cut it!

And the human brings the flower to his nose and smells it and does not like the smell and throws it away!

But this flower was there for its color and not for its aroma, nor for its taste. This is how God shows us his variety and the richness and beauty of life. This is how he shows us his love.

We know some of us don’t believe in God, but all of us know that if the red flower is lost, if the yellow and green of Nature are lost, if the animals are lost, then we will be lost too.

To find the answer to the question “What is the value of human life?”, we must first look back to the war zones. There we will meet many fathers who walk around with their dead children in their arms and many mothers who refuse to let them be taken from their arms or wander around like lost people looking for their loved ones, considering the dead to be alive.

There we will also find many small children. Some of them orphans who have been taken by grief, but all of them with anguish and fear etched on their faces.

If we look one of them in the eyes, we will see painted on its dried tears, pain, terror, disappointment, abandonment, despair, hunger, death!

It is as if life is staring death in the face!

Now we leave it to each one of you to find out who is life, and who is death.

THE LILIES ON MOUNT ATHOS

Not long ago, a group of friends, we visited the Holy Mountain Athos. Coming down from the top, we saw someone picking up all the flowers he found on his way and we didn’t say a word to him, although I think we all wished we had said those words that we were barely holding on to the doors of our lips…

“Don’t cut the flower, man. Don’t cut the other one either. Stop! You have cut so many innocent and rare flowers that bloom on the mountain of Holy Mother and you came from a foreign country and you cut them one by one wherever you find them.

They struggle to stay alive and you see them scattered sparsely on the mountain, one here, and the other there! You rarely see two together, while they also struggle to live, to beautify creation, to bear witness to the love of God.

You, O Man, did not leave a single flower on your path, but gathered them all in the palm of your hand and made them into a bouquet that withers in your hands and melts moment by moment, like a small child being strangled and slowly dying, while your own hands are tightly around its neck.

As if these delicate lilies will ever manage to reach where you imagined!

This was something beautiful and it was lost.”

Now if someone passes by there, they will hardly find a little flower waiting and decorating that side of the mountain with its outfit and making it special and so unique on the mountain, so that people would say “There where we saw the beautiful lily” if they want to describe that spot.

But lilies are great warriors, even though they seem so sensitive and tender.

LIFE AND GOD

“That is why I tell you that other flowers will come out, Man!

If you meet them on your way again, do not cut them. Please!

Leave them because there are also those of us who want to see them!

We are not few but many, we who want to see beauty and life around us, instead of war and death.

We cannot allow it, we cannot approve it, we cannot let this happen for any reason in our lives, that someone cuts the thread of life without paying the slightest price and instead brings death and war and fire and destruction.

There is no cause, no occasion that justifies such a thing and the only reason why someone could cut the thread of life is to protect life itself!

If someone disobeys this command and if even one innocent human life is lost, due to their actions or omissions, then they should be accused of a crime against humanity, a crime that was committed intentionally and not unintentionally.

Because it is not negligence whatever someone does or omits to do, which can harm Life and especially Human Life.

We cannot exterminate innocent people in order to kill some criminals, because then we also become criminals.

We cannot be indifferent to the innocent or the innocents who may be killed, because we could also have been among them.

No one has this right, to decide anything to do and ignore life around them and allow destruction and thoughtlessly and indiscriminately whoever is killed is killed!

This as far as we know is called Fascism! Fascism is a step above Tyranny, but if some people want to live their lives this way they can build their own cities and practice fascism among themselves, but not on us, the majority of humanity who have defeated Fascism with World Wars and much blood and who we do not want even our worst enemy to go through this again.

We do not burn them all together, green and dry, but we let them grow and then we separate the weeds and throw them into the fire, while we collect the good fruit and keep it, because this is what gives us life, along with the Sun and the Earth and this small fruit.

Everything around us is life and life is the gift of the God of Love. This is how we people who believe in God believe.

Look at the sun in the face! For a moment! He is the one who keeps us in Life. He is the one who has given us both his energy and his Light.

Look around you for a moment at the Earth! She is the one who has given us Life.

From there we got the soil and the water, from there the flowers and the thorns came out, from there the trees and the fruits.

Alive we found ourselves on Earth and no one was made by himself.

Is it by chance, or is it by necessity, or is it by poetry?

Did the elements of nature mix by chance, or someone deliberately created Heaven and Earth and Water and plants and living things and us humans ourselves?

Maybe it is the same God who has always been within us, sometimes as the Sun, sometimes as lightning, sometimes as an idol, sometimes as a man and sometimes as a celestial spirit, who wanted for his reasons, whether for beauty, or for utility, or for necessity, to create this Life that will protect Life itself.

Perhaps it happened that way, because darkness is fighting with light, which of the two will prevail in the universe and God wants to have people alive who fight for Life, people who fight for Truth and for Love.

DEATH AND SACRIFICE

So my friends, all of you who want to participate in the protection of the Earth and Life on Earth, come and meet us in the answers to the Cosmovote resolutions! Let’s see how many we are.

We, the people who believe in the necessity of protecting our Planet and Life on Earth, declare that we do not accept for any innocent human life to be lost unjustly, nor in a war that should not normally exist anywhere, nor should it ever take place, except if it is for the protection of life itself and the sacred and holy, such as Freedom and Justice, the Earth and the Water of Life, and differences and problems should be resolved justly and peacefully and civilized.

Some of us may find it absurd when we hear war scenarios, and some others may not even want to hear about it, considering it something impossible to happen and incredible and unthinkable to discuss nuclear strikes and nuclear threats, that we are being led to an increase in military armaments, the EU urging that citizens must ensure emergency and survival Kits and the calls of European leaders to prepare to fight in a war and sacrifice ourselves and our children for our freedom!

However our leadership should not worry, because we can assure them that some values ​​are written in our genes and are transmitted by our own DNA and we know very well those for which it is worth giving our lives, but the inability of global understanding and achieving peace is not one of them!

Perhaps for the first time, some of us felt that the voice of the representative of the European Commission reflected the voice of European citizens when she said, “Ukraine’s borders cannot be changed by force and the European Union must play a central role in a credible and sustainable peace plan that will stop the killings and end the war, without planting the seeds of a future conflict.”

While on the other side of the Ocean, another different view was heard, from those characterized as technocratic, where they see things coldly and calculatingly and tell you, “Russia has the upper hand in the negotiation and it is better for Ukraine to lose a few territories than to lose it all!” Someone who may believe that he will always win, speaks easily of loss, until the moment he himself loses.

China still does not speak, but stands like a calm Dragon that we consider our friend too, as well as all the people on Earth who respect the freedom of others and even bow down like the Asians, because they are free to do so and we return the bow to them.

The UN absent once again!

We do not mean that we wish to achieve a period of peace for us here, but other people elsewhere remain unprotected and persecuted and threatened and killed and suffering and groaning and torn and hungry, because as we would like others to treat us, that’s how we want to behave too, and we would like someone to help us if we find ourselves in danger and not abandon us.

We do not accept that differences are resolved through wars, with the most powerful countries trying to dominate and exploit the weakest, nor through terrorist methods, just as we do not accept bullying between children. We do not let them be killed, but we stop them and separate them peacefully.

We do not accept that an innocent human life is lost, neither as a collateral loss, nor as an accident or mishap, when there are many and serious mistakes and criminal omissions.

We do not accept the continuation of Feminicide (Cosmovote Question 25) by unbalanced partners and we demand better education, better social welfare, better policing, better justice, a fairer distribution of wealth and that everything goes for the better and not for the worse.

We cannot accept murder for any reason, unless we are forced to accept it as a result of an act of paranoia and madness and mental illness.

We do not accept immunity for politicians either. (Cosmovote Question 23)

Just as we do not accept anyone being persecuted for their opinions and decisions, so we do not accept any politician being persecuted for their own opinions and decisions and what they vote for in Parliament, but it is one thing to have a different opinion and another thing to have immunity from illegality that leads to arrogance and immorality and corruption and injustice.

Besides, the decisions that legislators make in Parliament are supposed to be the desire of the majority of the People and the Nation to be voted on. If there are cases where this does not happen, then this should be considered a malfunction of the Democratic system as it is implemented and should be corrected, such as for example the treatment of the White Vote which is also one of the questions awaiting your answer (Cosmovote Questions 17 and 20)

We do not even accept hearing that the offenses that cost the lives of our fellow human beings are at risk of being erased, such as for example in the Tempi accident, because the offense of causing murder and responsibility for the loss of human life should never be erased, just as the “lost” never return, those who “left” but are still here, inside us and they hurt us and make us wonder who is really the loser and who is the winner in Life.

THE NEW RESOLUTION

So after many questions concerning the resolution of Disputes between States, the functioning of the UN, the EU and the institution of Democracy in our Country and in the World and wanting to find out what value we give to human life, we add a new resolution-question and we invite you all to vote and tell us…

“What is the time that you believe a crime against human life can be erased?” and this question is Number 27 of Cosmovote.

How many years after the commission of the crime, the crime is erased, the statute of limitations is over and the criminal can walk free?

After how many years, can the fact that many young children were killed in the accident in Tempi be erased, without any control and accountability?

After how many years can a war criminal walk among us, who has given the order to kill indiscriminately the population of a country, whether his own or another, and has caused the deaths of countless innocent souls, whether his name is Assad, or Putin, or Netanyahu, or whatever he wants to call himself, and we will pretend that we do not know, that we did not see and did not hear that they committed crimes and murders?

We say this because some continue to negotiate with them, each trying to gain as much as they can for themselves, just as beasts do over their victims.

As if the real profit is different for each of us!

As if it is not the Peace and as if anyone has ever taken his wealth with them!

However, in the beginning, we are not asking for the punishment of those who have already made mistakes in a mistaken reality, we are asking for the power of Justice to do its job immediately and quickly and independently and distinctly from other powers and when an international arrest warrant is issued, that its implementation has no exceptions, so that we can ensure that this will not happen again and that there will never be any irritable person in the future who misunderstands and wants to go out and kill indiscriminately to achieve what he has in mind and we sit and watch once again like fools, unable to do anything.

So far as we know, no people have democratically voted that they want war to achieve anything, neither the Syrians, nor the Russians, nor the Israelis, and the possibility should be considered that perhaps their elected leaders misinterpreted their orders and intentions.

No one said “kill anyone you see in front of you” and perhaps they didn’t hear well. Because all people want to protect ourselves and our interests, but no one went out with a gun to kill all those who they consider to have wronged them or those they consider evil, because they know well that in a well-governed state, a just society, in addition to eternal condemnation, there will also be a humane punishment, according to our values and laws that try to protect ourselves and our interests.

However, even if there were people who still wanted war to achieve something, it would be interesting to know who they are and why!

Because all of us peoples have lost ground and gained ground and lost again and gained again and learned and understood that problems are not solved with wars that bring only pain and calamities, but only with justice and respect between people and that is what we have called Civilization!

However, from the moment we find ourselves in the overwhelming majority who believe that crimes against human life are never erased in the century, no matter how many years pass, that not much should pass, but that Justice should be served quickly, from that moment on, the timely attribution of responsibilities and the taking of adequate measures to prevent any repetition must be considered self-evident and immediately required, since no wise man makes the same sin for second time.

If we do not manage to gather so many or if the result of the resolution highlights a different choice from the one proposed, then we will be worthy of our fate and it would be acceptable for those who are doing it now, to continue doing what they are doing, indifferent to what we want to happen.

Because in the world we want to live in, in the one we have in mind, tolerance and impunity of those responsible for the harm to Life is not allowed and is not accepted, since we consider the right to the existence of Life to be self-evident, self-existent and supreme and that no one has the right to cut the thread and deprive anyone of life.

If someone harms or causes harm to the life of an innocent fellow human being, it means that he is dangerous and that he can cause harm to others and he should be held accountable, he should be disapproved by the world community and restricted or imprisoned and work hard to live and be punished, so that he can return to a life of freedom.

This should also be the first measure of punishment for prisoners in prisons, to work to live and earn their bread by the sweat of their brow, instead of feeding and watering them until they come out to do the same thing again, since they learn and cultivate their talent in laziness, indolence and cunning.

This is the role of justice and legislation and the state. These are the people responsible for making our dreams come true and we want capable government officials who can listen to us and make our vision come true.

The students have grown up and before they leave they want to add two more demands to the three initially formulated.

We have achieved Freedom and Education and a piece of bread to live on, but now these alone are not enough for us and we are still asking for Justice and a real Democracy, self-improving and self-fulfilling, where the decisions that will be made on each issue separately, will be the best possible and the most widely accepted.

Or maybe you think we have achieved these too and is it something else that we should be asking for?

Maybe this is not what we really want and need something else and it is something else that we are missing, that if we achieve it we will be able to live happily and satisfied with our lives? And what is this, to shout it out loud?

But it is not possible that there is nothing that we all want together! But it is not possible that we cannot find a point that we all agree on together, above the political parties to which each one belongs and the factions that he/she follows, something that is worth giving more importance to and achieving.

Do we expect a political party to save us, or a single person, worthy and resourceful like Odysseus the king of Ithaca, to find himself in the right position and guess and correct all that troubles us, all that bothers us, all that affects us as Greeks, as Europeans, as Christians, as People of the World?

Don’t we have the obligation to fight to achieve what we want in our lives?

Can we rely on the programmatic statements of a party, how many of them will be implemented and how many decisions will be taken exceptionally outside the programmatic statements, on issues that could not have been foreseen, in our absence and without the assurance of the majority’s consent?

This is where Cosmovote comes in! It comes to restore the process of direct democracy.

In other words, it gives all citizens the opportunity to propose what they consider important and necessary to be done in our lives, so that we can feel the serenity of justice and the peace of God’s love, and also the opportunity to vote on all these proposals, until we find what most of us agree is necessary to be done and perhaps has not been foreseen by the programs of the political parties, or has not been given the due importance and value that it should be according to the judgment of the people!

Through Cosmovote, direct Democracy returns to our lives, so that we decide on each issue separately and propose to the representatives collectively. Come with us, come unite, come find what we want exactly, instead of choosing between the different MENUs of the parties, which may not combine what we really want to achieve, in all the various areas of our everyday lives!

We are talking about the combination of the current applied representative Democracy, with the possibility of applying again (due to the internet) the method of direct Democracy, which by assisting the main effort of parliamentary democracy, can fill any gaps and realize the essential concept of Democracy, which is the covering of the sense of justice and the realization of the freedom of choices of people.

This cooperation can complete the functioning of the state, develop the regime of representative Democracy, strengthen the power of the people, strengthen the state of the Municipality, the voice of the People who are interested in applying their will in their lives, judging what is fair and right and do this by forming groups that support it.

Otherwise, Democracy as it is currently applied may prove to be incomplete, ineffective, dysfunctional and insufficient in the future.

But be careful! The fact that Cosmovote can bring about a revolution in the development of the regime and the decision-making process, does not mean in any way that it wishes to overthrow the current political system. The role is purely auxiliary, research, complementary and supportive.

We simply want to help make the best possible, unless we have already achieved it and we have not learned about it, because we have not heard anything about it, nor has anyone told us anything like that.

Finally, we could all ask ourselves if our Democracy resembles the first one ever created in ancient Athens that Pericles described like this…

“We therefore have a regime that does not copy the laws of others, but rather we are an example to some, rather than their imitators. And our regime is called democracy, because power is not in the hands of the oligarchs, but of the Demos (people of the City). WE WISH TO ALL THE WORLD MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

Our wish is addressed even to those who do not celebrate the coming of the New Year with the Christians, just as we celebrate with Christmas the Life we ​​leave behind us and the New Life that comes and that we begin with the best omens, with love and with joy and gifts and feasts and fireworks in the sky.

Like for example the Jews, who celebrate the New Year usually in September or early October according to our calendar, although they use their own different Jewish lunar calendar and give the celebration of the “Head of the Year” a strong religious character, asking forgiveness from God for the mistakes they made and begging for His help so that they do not fall into the same mistakes again or worse, hoping that they will manage to make a better beginning and live a better New Life too.

The same wish applies to the Chinese who begin their year with the New Moon, which falls between January 21 and February 20 and marks the coming of Spring, that Spring also marks New Life, and even for those who follow the Muslim calendar, who at this moment when we are counting 2026 years after Christ, they are counting 1447 from the Prophet Muhammad, who spoke to them for first time and made them know the one and only God of Abraham and they were also redeemed from ignorance and the worship of idols, which also marks for them a New beginning of Life.
