1. How it works:
Cosmovote was designed to give the opportunity to the global community to vote on the world we live in and express their public opinion on:
A. The World (country relations, environment, security)
B. Countries or associations (democracy and justice) and
C. Humanity (human relationships, values, rights and obligations)
showing like this the desired route for the human kind.
The main function of the website is to see what topics are important to people and record the public opinion on these topics, since the questions will be permanent and everyone will have the opportunity to change their vote, add their own choice to a question with propose a new choice-option button (if they do not find one that satisfies them) or even add their own question with propose a new voting button.
Voting is SECURE and votes are SECRET.
It is very important to MAKE ONE ACCOUNT PER PERSON and to VOTE ONLY ONCE ON EACH QUESTION otherwise there will be CANCELLATION AND EXCLUSION.
We want true and fair results and conclusions.
To be able to understand what people’s real priorities are, it would be good to answer or at least check all the questions-suggestions. For this reason notifications will be sent to members about new votings or options being added to existing ones.
2. How can this site make the change?
If we ask the right questions and give honest answers, we may be able to find what we want in life. And if we can express what we want, then maybe we can achieve it.
If for example, the results of the polls show that what the vast majority of people want, on a certain issue, is something different from what is actually happening, then this particular choice can be considered as a resolution of the people asking for its implementation.If our leaders don’t listen to us, if they don’t understand, we can suggest ways to achieve it or claim it.
Until this site gathers a large part of the world’s population, there is no case we can say that the results reflect the common opinion of the World. However, Cosmovote hopes that at some point in the future a large number of people worldwide will gather and vote by saying their opinion and then it will be able to claim the validity of representing global public opinion.
But this is in our hands, in the hands of all of us. If we all embrace Cosmovote as our own, if we share it with our friends, let our families know and recommend it to our acquaintances, if we all advertise it in every legal way, then surely we could become…
